I have read through a lot of the questions that have already been asked but I have yet to find exactly what I am looking for. I have been slowly but surely paying off some of the items on my credit report, all of which are delinquent by several years. My current credit score according to Experian’s Triple Advantage is a 548, and I would really like to increase my credit score by atleast one hundred points so I can purchase my first home in the very near future. I recently contacted a realtor who pulled my credit report and showed my high end credit as 614, mid of 610, and low of 598. I don’t quite understand why none of these numbers match what I am showing on my active Triple Advantage account, but I was told to wait atleast six more months and try to apply for a home again. I was approved on this attempt, but for ,000 less than what I need and the interest rate was 7.5%.
If anyone has any advice or words of motivation for me I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks all!

I got my credit report today and it shows that my total credit amount is 0 and I have 6 available. After further inspection I noticed that only one credit card had reported a credit limit/max balance and that all of my credit cards hadn’t been reported since April. Is there an effective way to contact the credit card companies and get them to report accurate and up to date information to the credit bureaus? I feel that this issue is affecting my credit score, so I would like to fix this.
Thanks in advance.

I want to fix my credit fast, because my husband and I want to buy a new house in about 6 months. There a lost of credit repair companies out there. They say that they can remove bad hits on your credit report.
Has this worked for anyone? If so, which company? How much did you have to pay them? How much did your credit score increase? How long did it take?
Thanks a bunch!

I am trying to repair my credit by sending debt settlement letters to the collections agencies listed on my credit report, but they are not being cooperative. Most are saying they CANNOT settle the debt nor are they willing to delete the listing from my credit report after the debt had been paid. I don’t trust any of these non profit credit counselors, but I need some guidance. I am begining to lose hope that this is even worth the trouble. Any advise?
